Recently, I had the privilege of attending the "Advantage Assam 2.0" business event at the prestigious Imperial Hotel in Osaka.
This event aimed to showcase the allure of Assam, India, to a global audience and foster valuable business connections.
The keynote address by the Chief Minister of Assam highlighted the state's rich natural resources, vibrant culture, and promising economic prospects. I was particularly impressed by Assam being ranked the 4th best place to visit in 2025 by the New York Times and its three UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Assam is currently diversifying its industries, with a strong focus on semiconductor collaborations. Additionally, the state is actively nurturing a startup ecosystem, creating exciting new business opportunities.
With attractions such as the world's oldest golf course and its renowned tea, Assam has much to offer. I am optimistic that this event will open doors to new business partnerships with Assam.
