This is why we are actively expanding our network to engage more business leaders who can support our travel planning initiatives.
Recently, we participated in the Invest Madhya Pradesh Roadshow. The event featured various presentations aimed at encouraging Japanese investment in Madhya Pradesh. In addition to financial incentives such as subsidies and tax benefits, the presentations highlighted the region's strengths, including safety, a thriving startup ecosystem, and a well-structured business environment.
Beyond semiconductor manufacturing, we believe there is significant potential for business collaboration between Japan and Madhya Pradesh in sectors such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and textiles.
From Japagrit's perspective, we also see promising opportunities in tourism. Historically, when business exchanges between countries flourish, cultural exchanges—including tourism—tend to follow. Given Madhya Pradesh's increasing focus on business, we anticipate that tourism between Japan and the region will also see substantial growth in the coming years.
Following the presentations, we attended a networking session over Indian cuisine, where we established valuable connections with business leaders from trading companies, manufacturers, the food industry, and the energy sector.
